We are raising funds to build, equip, and operate a completely free primary school for children in Kindergarten through Grade 6 in Garacad, Mudug Region — no tuition, no fees, no barriers.
In Garacad, too many children grow up without access to consistent, quality education. Families face financial barriers that force children out of classrooms and into uncertainty. The Garacad Youth Foundation was founded to change that — permanently.
We are building a full primary school from the ground up: acquiring land, constructing classrooms, and fully equipping every room with desks, chairs, books, and computers. When we open our doors, every child from Kindergarten to Grade 6 will walk in free of charge — every single day.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward one of three pillars: securing our land, constructing the building, and fully equipping every classroom.
Whether you are an individual, a member of the Somali diaspora, or an organization — every contribution brings us closer to opening day. We welcome one-time gifts and recurring support.
All donations are used exclusively for land, construction, and school equipment. Our volunteer team covers all administrative costs independently.
We are actively seeking grants and partnerships from international agencies, UN bodies, and development organizations that fund education in East Africa and Somalia.
Whether you want to donate, pledge, volunteer, make a grant introduction, or learn more — we would love to hear from you.
